Our woodland Wednesday pictures
Here are some images of our pupil assemblies with Head Teacher awards, house captains and Eco Committee .
Woodland Wednesdays: a forest schools based approach to support children developing skills to learn.
The reverend Stewart McPherson lead our Christmas Service Assembly. His message of giving love during these festive times was shared with pupils, parents and staff.
Peter Pan performed in the Lyceum theatre in Edinburgh. It was an exiting performance and everyone enjoyed it. It was great to see how the older children supported the younger ones in this experience.
The remembrance service at the memorial in Newlands centre was beautiful and touching. The contributions from the minister and the children against the backdrop of the displays and the memorial itself were respectful and moving. All pupils were attentive and respectful. The house captains gave short readings. You may know, 2018 marks one hundred years since the end of the first world war, in 1918.

Our final assembly with Mrs McKinnon focussing on pupil priorities and using our produce from the poly tunnel for our school dinners.
House captains elections. Today, Thursday 13th September the new House Captains and vice House Captains were elected. After intensive campaigning the votes were cast and below you can see the success full candidates for each house.
The Cottage Garden show was well attended by the school and the community. All classes took part in different competitions. See pictures below for an impression.
