Welcome back to a new term everybody! We hope all of you had a fun October break! P3/4 have now finished their Terrain Tuesdays that wouldn't of happened without their teacher Mrs Frasar! The next class to experience it is P5/6. We hope you enjoy it!

To raise money for the parent council there is a dress down day on the 6th of November. If you can bring a donation to come dressed down that would be great!

A new group called CCG (Climate Change Group) was organised by our P7 pupils Meg, James and John who are aiming to make our school a more Eco friendly place. They are organising meetings on Monday from 12:30 to 1:00 pm. It is free so come along to save our planet!
A new climate change group has started up for the P1-3 classes on Wednesday.It is great to see such young people trying to save our planet! Come along!
Climate Change Group has decided that a protest for global warming will be held in the school playground on Tuesday the 17th to raise more awareness. Anyone is welcome and aspecial well done to James, Meg, John and Nansie for organising this!
Shared skills afternoon proved to be a big hit with all the pupils on the 5th of December.There was drama by Mrs White who joined up with Isla, Amy, Abbie and Caitlin doing dancing while Mrs Adams ran ball games and Mrs Bruce did baking. there was also origami run by Kian and Tom while Mr Kaljee did art. Everyone came away from their activities buzzing and can't wait for the next shared skills afternoon
On Tuesday 17th the climate change group had their first protest and it went really well!

Welcome back everybody for a new and exciting term but most important of all a new decade! Everybody is rearing to get back to learning!
Pupils of P5/6/7 are very excited as on Thursday 16th we are having a continential breakfast as a close to our Europe topic. There will be food from many different European cultures and we hope everyone enjoys it!
On the 27th of January 2020, we celebrated Burns night by having a traditional Scottish lunch including Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. Afterwards, selected pupils from each year group recited Scottish poems. P5s fought for the Morrison cup which was won by Hazel Adamson . A big well done to everyone who competed!
Over the next few terms P5/6/7 will be reintroduced to the John Muir award. We will be going outside for walks , having awareness of the country side and world around us. Everyone is super excited!
Last Friday was a muddy one as we had a fabulous obstacle course to raise money for Sports Relief! We all got a certificate at the end and all came back into school beaming!
Home Learning Updates
Hello everybody and we hope you are all healthy and happy at your home school! The Newsgroup is going to keep you updated with thoughts of pupils as we normally would at school and we will be publishing something on this page every week too.

Lately P5/6 have been building air raid shelters, making chocolate pudding and writing news reports!
