On the 9th of June sports day came around to Newlands. Unfortunately the traditional Scottish weather occurred on sports day but we still had a great time. Many parents and siblings came to watch their children that day. Thank you to the parent council for helping with the drinks and snacks. After all the fun sports games we did the flat and the potato and spoon races. Then at the very end we commenced with the relay race. Everyone had a great time but there had to be one winner. Congratulations to Moothill for winning sports day and the sports shield.
